CV – ABSTRACT
Andrés Malamud holds a Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences from the European
University Institute, Florence. He is currently an assistant researcher at
CIES-ISCTE (Center for Research and Studies in Sociology at the University
Institute of Management, Social Sciences and Technologies) in Lisbon, and an
assistant professor of political science at the University of Buenos Aires (on
leave). His research interests focus on regional integration, comparative
democratic institutions, political parties, European and Latin American
politics, and trans-Atlantic migrations. He has published several articles in
books and refereed journals such as the Latin American Research Review,
Cambridge Review of International Affairs, América Latina Hoy (Salamanca),
Revista Argentina de Ciencia Política, Revista Uruguaya de Ciencia Política,
Contexto Internacional (Rio de Janeiro), Sociologia-Problemas e Práticas
(Lisbon) and Análise Social (Lisbon).
